Ari Tuckman, PsyD, MBA, is a psychologist, international presenter, author, and ADHD expert. He is the author of four books on adult ADHD – one for clinicians and three for the general public. He has also written several book chapters and is a frequent author for ADHD-related publications, including ADDitude Magazine and Attention Magazine.

He is a popular and dynamic presenter who routinely earns excellent reviews for his ability to make complex concepts understandable and useful. He has given more than 650 presentations and podcast interviews for professionals and members of the public, across America and in Sweden, Turkey, Greece, Mexico, England, Spain, Denmark, Canada, and Iceland.

He has appeared on CNN, National Public Radio, and XM Radio and has been quoted in The New York Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, USnews.com, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Men’s Health, and many other media outlets. He is a former board member and current conference committee chair for CHADD and is the 2023 recipient of their Hall of Fame award for his significant contributions to the field.

Evelyn Polk Green, MSEd, is a past national president of both ADDA, the Attention Deficit Disorder Association and CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). Evelyn is an adult with ADHD, and the mother of two adult sons, Perry and Robert, both of whom also have ADHD. Active in ADHD and mental health advocacy for more than 25 years, she has served as a leader representing the family voice in the ADHD and mental health communities in many capacities, including as a member of the Network on Children’s Mental Health Services funded by the MacArthur Foundation. She frequently represents the family/consumer perspective on mental health issues and often speaks to audiences and the media on a variety of topics. She has been focused on the challenges of ADHD in minority, poor and other underserved populations throughout her advocacy career. She is the recipient of several honors for her volunteer work in mental health and education, including the Beacon College Achieving Lifetime Vision and Excellence (ALiVE) Award for her advocacy work on behalf of children and adults with learning differences and ADHD. Evelyn works as an administrator with the Chicago Public Schools, planning professional development programs for early childhood special education professionals and families. She holds bachelor and master’s degrees from National Louis University and a master’s degree from Northern Illinois University.

Varleisha D. Lyons (formerly Gibbs), PhD, OTD, OTR/L, ASDCS, is an occupational therapist and author with over 20 years of experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing disorders and neurological disorders. She developed and founded Delaware’s first occupational therapy program and became the first black indigenous American woman to serve as the Scientific Programs Officer at the American Occupational Therapy Foundation. Currently, she is the Vice President of Diversity Equity Inclusion Justice Access and Belonging at the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Varleisha continues to lecture and provides training on sensory processing strategies and self-regulation to practitioners, parents, and teachers throughout the country and internationally. As co-author of Raising Kids with Sensory Processing Disorders, she has provided families with strategies to understand and care for their children. Dr. Lyons is the developer of the Self-Regulation and Mindfulness program and author of the best-selling book, Self-Regulation and Mindfulness: Exercises and Worksheets for Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (Сòòò½ÊÓƵ Publishing & Media). She is the co-author of Trauma Treatment in ACTION: Over 85 Activities to Move Clients Toward Healing, Growth and Improved Functioning (Сòòò½ÊÓƵ Publishing & Media). Her areas of expertise include neuroanatomy, self-regulation strategies across the lifespan, health inequities, and trauma responsive approaches.

Carolyn Lentzsch-Parcells, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician and the owner and president of Our Place Adolescent and Young Adult Health, a multi-faceted clinic dedicated to meeting the physical and emotional needs of adolescents and young adults. Dr. Lentzsch-Parcells is also an assistant professor of pediatrics at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine, a member of the national board of CHADD, and member of the planning committee for the International Conference on ADHD. As a physician with nearly 20 years of experience, a teacher, and mother with ADHD and a learning disability herself, she has a deep commitment to caring for individuals and families with ADHD as well as improving the care they receive by educating patients, parents, medical and mental health providers, coaches, teachers, community leaders and anyone else who will listen (and on occasion those who won’t). Dr. Lentzsch-Parcells speaks and lectures nationally on ADHD, pharmacotherapy and ADHD, ADHD and anxiety, ADHD and eating disorders, adolescent development, and parenting among other topics.
