Melisa Moore, PhD
Melisa Moore, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and a board-certified diplomate in behavioral sleep medicine. She has served on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania and was the psychosocial director of the sleep center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
Dr. Moore works with infants, children, teens, and young adults virtually and in person across the country for a variety of sleep and psychological concerns. She has written more than 50 book chapters, scientific papers, and articles for popular media. She regularly speaks to professionals and to parent groups around the world at conferences, workshops, and other venues. Dr. Moore also supervises medical and psychology trainees and has taught courses on sleep at multiple universities. She is a consulting sleep expert on the Pediatric Sleep Council’s website .
