Jacque Sumida, LPC

Jacque Sumida, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 24 years of experience working with individuals who have committed sexually based offenses. She is a long-standing SOMB (Sex Offender Management Board) treatment provider and evaluator, approved since 2014, and has served as an SOMB Clinical Supervisor since 2023. In addition to her SOMB designations, Jacque has held the national Approved Clinical Supervisor credential since 2022.

Jacque currently serves as a victim representative for the Division of Youth Services and Savio House and maintains a private practice focused on trauma therapy. She specializes in working with both juveniles and adults, including individuals with intellectual disabilities and those exhibiting symptoms related to Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). In addition to her clinical work, she provides guidance and support to the friends, families, and support systems of those who have offended.

Her previous roles include serving as a Victim Representative for the Rite of Passage, a Domestic Violence Victim Advocate, and a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).
