I’ve heard psychedelics can cause intense experiences. How can I ensure client safety?
Our training emphasizes harm-reduction protocols, thorough screening, and emergency procedures to help you address adverse reactions responsibly. You’ll also learn about setting (environment), “set” (mindset), and trauma-informed care principles, ensuring that clients feel supported and grounded. With these tools, you can transform potentially challenging experiences into powerful opportunities for healing.
Will this training let me administer psychedelics in my private practice?
This training is designed to help you assess, prepare, and integrate psychedelic-assisted sessions—not to equip you for direct administration of these substances. The legal status of administering psychedelics varies widely based on federal, state, and provincial laws. We’ll explore some of the current regulations and options available, so you’ll have the tools to practice ethically and legally within your region.
What if my colleagues or organization doesn’t support psychedelic therapy?
Many clinicians are initially skeptical due to a lack of awareness or misconceptions. You’ll learn how to present the growing body of research, legal guidelines, and ethical considerations that demonstrate psychedelics’ legitimacy and safety when used responsibly. Armed with data and best practices, you can confidently advocate for these treatments within your organization and help shift the cultural lens.
