Description

Join Dr. Price, author of Unmasking Autism and the forthcoming Unmasking for Life, as he shares his personal journey discovering and embracing an Autistic identity. We’ll explore the major gains that the Autistic community has made in public acceptance and improved accessibility in the last decade, and then outline a vision for neurodiverse justice that is rooted in the ideals of liberation, autonomy, and authenticity. Alternative models of accessing care, accommodations, and community will be explored, as will alternative paradigms for approaching neurodiversity, beyond pathology or psychiatric models.
