Description

Mental health treatment is evolving – and staying on the cutting edge means embracing interventions that address the whole person.

Decades of research now show that physical activity isn’t just good for the body - it’s a powerful, often underutilized tool for transforming emotional and cognitive health.

From helping clients with anxiety and depression to improving executive function and emotional regulation, movement-based approaches like strength training, yoga, and cardiovascular exercise can significantly amplify the impact of traditional therapy.

Yet most clinicians aren’t trained to use them effectively – leaving powerful results on the table.

That’s why we created this hands-on workshop with renowned expert Daniel J. Moran, PhD, BCBA-D, former president of the Association for Contextual Behavior Science (ACBS) and respected author. You’ll gain a clear, evidence-based framework for integrating physical movement into mental health treatment – without needing to become a fitness coach.

Dr. Moran will guide you through practical tools and real-world applications to support clients coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, cognitive decline, and more. You’ll learn how to enhance brain function, resilience, and emotional stability – building treatment plans that go beyond symptom relief to create lasting, meaningful change.
